Free tools, and a 404 that files its own bug report

NewImproved

What's new

  • Put a feedback button on your 404 or 500 and the form opens already written — the category chosen, the message started, and the page it happened on in the text where you can read it. Anything the page already knows can go in: an error reference means the report arrives with the line to search your logs for, rather than "checkout is broken". Everything stays editable before they send.
  • Four free tools, at feedfa.st/tools. No account, nothing to install: fifteen copy-paste feedback button designs, eight status page layouts, a builder that generates a custom feedback modal on our API in your own markup, and a changelog designer that renders your entry exactly as it will publish.

Improved

  • The docs gained a live error-page demo you can click through — pick a 404, 500 or 403 and open the report it would produce — plus a section on pointing a monitor at an endpoint that needs a token.
