You now hear about it when your site goes down
New — Monitoring now emails you when a scheduled check cannot load your website at all. Until now a site that went down failed its daily check silently — the report email only goes out for checks that complete, so the one day you most needed to hear from us was the day you got nothing. The notice says what the check saw, what it most likely means, and what to do, and repeats at most once a week while the site stays down. Your normal report resumes as soon as the site loads again.
Improved — When a scan cannot load a site over HTTPS, it now also tries plain HTTP and says what it found. "The server is up but its HTTPS setup is broken" points you at the certificate; "plain HTTP fails too" tells you the site is down. Before, both cases read the same.
